Association of Costs Lawyers

The Association of Costs Lawyers (ACL) is the recognised professional body for Costs Lawyers in England and Wales. It represents and supports its members while promoting excellence in the practice and understanding of legal costs.
ACL plays a key role in developing the legal costs landscape through education, training, and ongoing engagement with the legal profession. It advocates for the valuable contribution Costs Lawyers make and works collaboratively with legal bodies to support law reform, particularly in costs law and procedure.
As the only organisation authorised to provide recognised training in this field, ACL delivers the Costs Lawyer Professional Qualification (CLPQ), a comprehensive and structured course covering all aspects of costs law and practice. This ensures that qualified Costs Lawyers are equipped with the expertise, credibility, and professional standing required to advise and advocate on costs issues at the highest level.
Through its work, ACL continues to influence policy, uphold professional standards, and advance the role of Costs Lawyers in a changing legal landscape.

AlphaBiolabs

AlphaBiolabs is the UK’s leading and award-winning provider of DNA, drug and alcohol testing services for family law cases.

We are delighted to once again sponsor this year’s Family Law Community Interaction Award as we recognise the significant contribution that law firms, chambers, councils and charitable organisations make to improving life for those within their local communities.

We also recognise that many charities still continue to face major challenges. Reduced funding combined with a greater demand for their services has left many of them struggling to support those in need.
We therefore continue to donate £5 for every legal instruction we receive through our own Giving Back campaign. Since April 2021 we have proudly donated over £50,000 to the following charities:

• TGP Cymru
• Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol & Drugs (SFAD)
• National Association for Children of Alcoholics (Nacoa)
• National Youth Advocacy Service (NYAS)
